A watch is great for the people that used them and the events that it witnessed. In 1927 Charles Lindberg made his first solo nonstop crossing of the North Atlantic. Longines' record of 10 Grand Prix and 28 Medaillles d Or has never been equalled by any other watch manufacturer. Based on varied models of 1920 and 1930, Longine Watch launched classical Longines Dolce Vita serie and two years later the "Elegance and Individuality" with Audrey Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart and other modern film stars present,. This first Longine ad. is still used today.In 2001, Longines celebrated the 30 Millionth Longines Watch with a commemorative collection of 990 pieces featuring an limitation of 990 caliber movement.
